The History of Variations by Victoria

Variations by Victoria was established in June of 1976 by Alice Victoria Whitley and her daughter Lanelle Holley. Joan Macreynolds purchased Variations by Victoria in 1983, keeping the name that had become known for quality and specialized service. In 1999, we moved from our 20-year location (on the corner of Tazwell and Jacksboro Pike) to our current location at 3814 North Broadway. In 1995, I came to work at Variations by Victoria, starting off cutting and assembling frames. I quickly began to learn the other aspects of the business. I purchased Variations from Joan in April 2003.

Framing is not just job, it is a passion. There is nothing I won’t frame – no framing order is too big or too small.

We have made some changes to our gallery. We now mainly showcase East Tennessee’s artistic talents. However, we still carry a variety of unframed prints.
